My last stop on this little trip in Central Italy, was Assisi. I knew this city because of the story of St. Francesco and for its architectural wonders. I never imagined that it was a place so rich in spirituality. It was the place where I took refuge in a church to pray and this happens very rarely because I’m a practising catholic. There is a light and atmosphere that takes you on a spiritual dimension and makes you see things through the eyes of the soul and heart. No pictures can describes the beaty of this place. It  was the place where I stop, think about myself and look to the future with new eye.

For this trip I have to thank a person with a great spirit of adventure and patience, that shared with me this travel, made me known convey  beautiful places and very often  for this blog photographed me. Thank you Giuseppe!

Who would have said that on December 31, 2011 I would be in a bikini???. It was amazing undressing the down jacket and then putting on my bikini with 10° temperature degrees.. The free thermal baths in Saturnia is a beautiful place, the thermal  pools surrounded by nature where people can relax and spend time immersed in hot enriched with sulfur water. And one important thing's that everhthing is free, given by nature!!!! Here are some pics of this wonderful place.

Sometimes routine, economical crisis and pessimism of this period can turn you off. The only solution is getting away, stop negativity, finding new energy somewhere else. Going away without program, few clothes in suitcase, my camera and a guide natural gas distributors of Italy and go. In the morning of 30th December I started my little journey through the heart of Italy

First stop: Orvieto (TR) for a stunning tribute concert to Astor Piazzolla by Juan Pablo Jofre Romarion with “I Solisti di Perugia” during Umbria Jazz Winter. He is a young Argentinean bandoneon musician who’s studied with Julio Pane, the famous bandoneon of Astor Piazzolla Sextet. The concert was very emotional, the dialog between bandoneon solo and orchestra was so deep and passionate with interesting musical dynamics. They played the most famous pieces of Piazzolla repertory: Libertango and the 4 seasons and two unpublished pieces of Romarion repertory.
This is the video of "Intermezzo" from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana played by Juan Pablo Jofre Romarion and “I Solisti di Perugia”

A food advice! In central Italy food is incredible, flavors are so delicate and tasty. This is the place where I ate the best dinner of 2011: Antica Cantina Orvieto. Soooo goood!
