Sometimes routine, economical crisis and pessimism of this period can turn you off. The only solution is getting away, stop negativity, finding new energy somewhere else. Going away without program, few clothes in suitcase, my camera and a guide natural gas distributors of Italy and go. In the morning of 30th December I started my little journey through the heart of Italy

First stop: Orvieto (TR) for a stunning tribute concert to Astor Piazzolla by Juan Pablo Jofre Romarion with “I Solisti di Perugia” during Umbria Jazz Winter. He is a young Argentinean bandoneon musician who’s studied with Julio Pane, the famous bandoneon of Astor Piazzolla Sextet. The concert was very emotional, the dialog between bandoneon solo and orchestra was so deep and passionate with interesting musical dynamics. They played the most famous pieces of Piazzolla repertory: Libertango and the 4 seasons and two unpublished pieces of Romarion repertory.
This is the video of "Intermezzo" from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana played by Juan Pablo Jofre Romarion and “I Solisti di Perugia”

A food advice! In central Italy food is incredible, flavors are so delicate and tasty. This is the place where I ate the best dinner of 2011: Antica Cantina Orvieto. Soooo goood!
